‘Sahaj’ is a Sanskrit word that means natural or effortless. ‘Samadhi’ is a deep, blissful, meditative state. ‘Sahaj Samadhi Meditation’ is a natural, effortless way of meditation.

The Sahaj Samadhi program teaches you meditation technique that enhances the quality of one’s life, by culturing the system to maintain peace, energy and expanded awareness throughout the day.

Regular practice of these meditation techniques combined with yogic practices can significantly help in stress-related problems, deeply relaxes the mind and rejuvenates the system to ensure good health and a calm mind.

How does Sahaj Samadhi Dhyan work?

In the Sahaj Samadhi Meditation program participant is given a personalized mantra and a technique is taught to use a personalized mantra – a simple sound mentally that allows the mind to settle down and go within. When the mind and nervous system are allowed to repose a few moments in the profound silence, the blocks that clog the system and our progress gradually dissolve.

    In Sanskrit, a mantra is described as, ‘Manana trayate iti mantra.’ Mantra is that which saves you from repetitiveness. A repetitive thought is a worry. Mantras help free you from worries.

    In Sahaj Samadhi Meditation, every participant is given a personalized mantra, a simple sound which is very simple and easy to remember.

    Unlike guided meditation, Sahaj Samadhi Meditation does not require any guidance once learned. And, generally, it takes you to a much quieter and deeper state of being as well.

    Sahaj Samadhi means “effortless meditation.” It does not require controlling the mind like concentration meditations, nor does it require observation of thoughts, and emotions like mindfulness meditation. Thus, it has been found to be easier and quicker to learn than mindfulness or concentration which require mental effort and take a longer time to master.
