How to Reach Ashram?

People travelling from South India and reaching the Electronic City can take a direct bus to the Ashram.

Travel by Flight

Bengaluru is well connected by flights from all over India and abroad. The airport name is Kempegowda International Airport (KIA).

Reaching Ashram from Airport

  • After you come out of the airport, walk towards BMTC Bus Station.
  • Get into Bus number KIA-5 which goes to Banashankari. It is a fully A/C bus and has space to keep your luggage. This bus runs every 1 hour. Take ticket to the last stop ‘Banashankari Temple’. The travel time is approximately 2 hours.
  • After you get down at Banashankari Bus Terminal, board the bus # 211 or board the bus that is going to ‘Kanakapura Road’.
  • Get down at Ashram Bus Stop (also known as Art of Living Ashram stop / Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ashram stop).

Travel by Train

There are 3 main stations in Bengaluru, namely

  • KSR (also known as Majestic or Kempegowda Station or Bengaluru City Junction),
  • Krishnarajapuram (KR Puram) and
  • Yeshvanthpur Junction

Reaching Ashram from railway station

Travelling by Bus

  • After you come out of the railway station, walk straight to the Kempegowda Bus Station (also known as Majestic Bus Stand) on the opposite side.
  • Go to platform # 11 and take the bus that goes to ‘Banashankari Temple’.
  • After you get down at Banashankari Bus Terminal, board the bus # 211 or board the bus that is going to ‘Kanakapura Road’.
  • Get down at Ashram Bus Stop (also known as Art of Living Ashram stop / Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ashram stop).

Travelling by Metro

  • After you come out of the railway station, go to Kempegowda Metro Station on the opposite site.
  • There are 2 lines in Bengaluru Metro – Green and Purple line. Travel by the Green line.
  • Take ticket for ‘Silk Institute’ Metro Station. As of now, this is the last station on Green Line. This journey will take 33 minutes.
  • After you get down at Silk Institute metro station, book an Ola cab or take public bus. Ashram is only 3 kilometers away.
